Finishing Options for Custom Vinyl Signs
We offer four finishing options for vinyl banner printing: flush-cut, hemmed, pole pockets, and wind slits.
- Flush-cut banners have standard, single-layer edges. You can use them in banner stands, frames, or hang them on walls with push pins and banner tape.
- Hemmed banners feature sewn edges that enhance durability and wind resistance. Hems and grommets are selected separately in the configurator. We recommend adding a hem whenever you order grommets, since the reinforced edge keeps the grommets from tearing the material. Vinyl banners with hemmed edges are durable even under intense weather conditions.
- Pole Pockets are folded and stitched along the edges of vinyl custom banners. You can pass rods, poles, and cables through pole pockets. Install your banners on street posts, scaffolding tubes, banner stands, and other similar places.
- Wind Slits are half-moon cuts on the surface of your banner. Strong winds will pass through the wind slits without damaging or tearing the poster.
Hanging Accessories
We offer several hanging accessories to make installation easy.
- Grommets: They’re small metal rings on the edges and corners of custom-printed vinyl banners. Pair them with sewn hems (selected separately in the configurator) so the reinforced edges are less prone to fraying or tearing when punctured for grommets.
