- Stick the clear PowerTabs onto the top corners. They’re basically reinforced stickers that create a hanging point.
- Run your rope through the tabs. It gives a cleaner “floating” look compared to bulky metal rings.

What’s the difference between grommets and PowerTabs?
- Grommets are the heavy-duty installation option for pennants. They’re metal rings that are punched through the vinyl.
You can pass zip ties and ropes through them for maximum strength.
PowerTabs are strong adhesive loops and are used for smooth pennants applied indoors. They don’t distract from the design and give your visual a “boutique” look. How do I clean my pennant banner?
- Skip chemicals to avoid damaging the surface of your product. Take a soft cloth and clean it with some lukewarm water. Don’t scrub hard, just pat it dry with a towel.
Does “Blockout” mean I can’t see through it?
- Yes. The standard type of vinyl can sometimes look “thin” under bright light. The matte 15 oz scrim banner with blockout properties has an internal layer that entirely blocks out light.
Does my product come with grommets?
- It depends on the option you select.
If you get the matte vinyl banner, then yes, it comes with grommets. It also includes ropes for hanging.
If you get the smooth variant, then no, as this one doesn’t use metal grommets. Instead, it comes with PowerTabs for the top two corners. It also includes ropes.
