Gator board signs are rigid display boards that resist warping and denting. They’re made of a sturdy, lightweight material, allowing the sign to be reused for several years.

Gator Board Printing and Material

A gator board sign consists of a polystyrene foam core, encased in two durable wood-fiber veneer layers. The faces may feel like paper, but they are far more durable than they look. Our gator board signs come in all-white (core and surface) or black/white combination options. This unique construction makes them tough, while still being easy to mount or display.

We use UV inks and state-of-the-art machinery to provide you with quality products. We have two printing techniques for custom gator board signs.

Single-Sided Gator Board Printing

Square/Rectangle Cut

With 90° pointed angles, this is the standard option in our industry and by far the most popular choice among customers.

Rounded Cut

Having the same right angles as the square/rectangle cut, this one comes with smooth, rounded corners at ¼”-½” radius.

Custom Cut

Design your board in whatever shape you like and choose this option so we cut it in that exact shape. Kindly bear in mind that if your design includes two pieces that are meant to be separated, you should order two separate boards. If the two pieces are in the same design, they will be connected to each other.

Custom Cut with Borders

This option is custom-shaped with an additional ¼”-½” border. The border will have the original color of the material you’ve chosen. Remember that the border thickness will be included in the board’s overall dimensions and not added to the original size you chose. If you want custom borders or if you want them in a color other than the basic black or white coat, you should include that border in the design and opt for our custom cutting option instead.

It’s not recommended to use custom gator board signs outdoors. We use UV-resistant inks for gator board printing, but the material itself can’t withstand harsh weather conditions for long. Short-term outdoor usage in mild weather should be fine. We also offer other alternatives suited to outdoor usage, such as corrugated plastic signs.
