What are Car Window Decals
Car window decals, also referred to as car window stickers, are adhesive vinyl graphics that stick to your vehicle's glass. They are a perfect tool to either customize your vehicle windows or communicate with your potential customers.
Vehicle window decals are ideal for promoting your brand and advertising your services on the go. Display your logo, a special offer, or your website in traffic. A custom-printed car window decal catches attention wherever you park or drive, turning fellow drivers into potential customers. Add a fun, custom design to make your car stand out even more.
Full-color printing keeps the graphics crisp. We print on durable vinyl that doesn’t fade and shrugs off sun, rain, and grime. Apply and peel them off easily without the fear that they’ll leave any residue behind. Add car decals to the mix, and your whole car carries your message.
Ready to make an impression? Make your own car window decals today, and we’ll ship fast across the US and Canada.

Printing and Application Options for Custom Car Window Decals
We use state-of-the-art printers and the highest quality UV inks to print our products. The image is UV-cured to avoid fading from exposure to direct sunlight. We offer two printing options for custom car window decals: standard and inside-glass. The latter is available only for the clear window decals.
Standard
We print your design on the face side of the material. The decals apply to the outside of your vehicle window. The colors display directly on the glass for maximum impact. As they sit on the window from the outside, they directly face outdoor elements. This may slightly shorten the car window decal’s lifespan. So make sure you use it for temporary promotions that need a vivid look.
Inside-Glass
We mirror-print the designs so you can apply them to the inside of the car window. The image then shows through the transparent material and the glass. Glass glare may slightly affect the appearance. The extra layer protects the graphics and extends their life. Choose this option for permanent branding and designs you want to keep for years.

Materials
Our window decals for cars are made of premium vinyl. We offer three material options, which are clear, perforated, and opaque. All three materials l are waterproof, so you can use them without worrying about the weather conditions.
The adhesive is made strong to prevent the edges from peeling off. Its removal is also residue-free.
The unprinted areas of your vehicle window decal will have a glossy finish. Once we print your design, the printed areas take on a matte finish. Each of these material variations has specific features and is used for different purposes. To discover more details about their advantages and specifications, please check the “Types of Car Window Decals” section.

Car Window Decal Size Chart
You're free to choose any size for your custom vinyl car window decals, from small decals to full-window graphics. Orders range from a minimum of 6" × 6" to a maximum of 58" × 1,680".
| Size Range | Best For | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 6" × 6" to 8" × 8" | Small, subtle touches | Great for a logo, phone number, or parking permit. Share your message without blocking your view. |
| 12" × 12" to 18" × 24" | Standard, most popular | Fits rear and side windows. Ideal for business names, social media handles, or a bold slogan. |
| 24" × 36" and up | Large, statement pieces | Works for large rear windows or windshield banners. Perfect for eye-catching promotions or full-vehicle branding. |
Rear Window Decal Size Chart
Graphics that fully cover the rear windshield are not so easy to shape. We advise getting them in a square-rectangle shape, installing them, and then cutting the excess edges. The image shows you how to properly measure the right size of your vinyl car window decals.
Make sure that no important design elements or information will be left out. Keep all graphics at the center of your vinyl car window decals. You’ll avoid getting them cut or going over the edges this way.

Shape Options
You have full freedom to style your decal with us. While our platform allows for shape customization, we also offer a few static options to facilitate the design process. Each of these options is available for all types of car window stickers.
You can choose the option you want in our tool to create any kind of product. Read their detailed descriptions to find out which one is right for you.
- Square / Rectangle is our default cut, which has 90° corners. Choose equal width and height for a square, or different dimensions for a rectangle. The strong adhesive keeps the edges from peeling. This option is ideal for full-window coverage, since matching the exact window shape isn’t practical.
- Rounded is an option as square or rectangle decals but with softened corners. You can round them ½", ¾", or 1", depending on your design. Rounded corners also resist peeling better than sharp ones. Use this for notices, logos, and informational displays.
- Circle / Oval creates soft, rounded shapes with no corners at all. This style suits round logos, badges, seals, and emblems perfectly. The curved edge naturally draws the eye toward your design.
- Custom Cut With Border follows your design’s exact shape, plus a thin surrounding border. It brings contrast between your graphic and the glass behind it. Choose it when you want a car window decal that captures everyone’s attention with contrast.
- Custom Cut follows the precise outline of your design. Our premium machinery delivers a neat edge every time. Keep in mind you won’t get separate vinyl pieces with this option. The non-printed space between elements stays in place rather than being cut away.

Care for Custom Car Window Decals
Car window graphics are durable enough to withstand daily wear and tear, especially with an inside-glass application. For decals applied to the glass exterior, a little care goes a long way. Follow these steps to extend the lifespan of your business car window decals.
Clean your side, back, or front windshield decal with a soft cloth. Use warm water and mild detergents for the best results. Avoid applying harsh chemicals.
If you still decide on pressure washing, make sure to keep the nozzle at least one foot away and at a right angle, avoiding the edges of the image. Avoid automated car washes that use brushes, as they may take the vehicle window decals off the glass.
Removable vehicle window decals are weather-resistant so you can drive your car in the rain, snow, wind, and sun. However, try to park indoors whenever possible to avoid early fading and damage to your back and front windshield decal.

Types of Custom Car Window Decals
Car window graphics come in many types, each built for a specific purpose. Our platform puts every choice at your fingertips. Pick your printing style, cutting shape, size, and accessories to match your exact needs. Whether you want bold branding or a subtle personal touch, there’s an option for you.
Clear Vinyl Car Window Decals
Choose clear vinyl when your design has intricate details or separate elements. The unprinted areas stay see-through, so complex artwork displays without cut-outs. This makes it the best pick for detailed logos, layered graphics, or text with fine lettering.
You can also mirror-print clear car decals for inside-glass application. You apply the design from inside the car, and it reads correctly from outside. The glass then protects it from tearing, weather, and daily wear.

Opaque Vinyl Decals For Car Windows
Choose opaque vinyl when you want body color that stands out. These decals block visibility from both sides for a crisp look. They print on white by default but can be any design you like. This makes them ideal for high-impact graphics rather than fine detail.
Opaque works best for small rear-window decals with a clear message. Display different notices, family stick-figure graphics, or a bold logo. Keep them small and well-placed, since large or poorly positioned decals can block the driver’s view. Always check your local laws, as we aren’t liable for illegal use.

Perforated Vehicle Window Decals
Larger perforated car window decals are mainly used for business promotions. You can feature your logo or a short list of your services or products. Your business car window decals will catch the attention of prospective customers whether you’re driving or parked.
Use this option mainly for custom rear window decals that cover the whole surface. It’s see-through from one side and doesn’t obscure the driver’s view. We offer a 70/30 print-to-perforation ratio for car back window decals. This design sharpens the printed graphics while keeping the driver's view clear.
