Regular aluminum signs don't have vinyl covers. They come with a default white base coat that helps the graphics adhere to the surface.

Aluminum signs come in three thicknesses: 0.040”, 0.060”, and 0,080”. The products are sturdy and durable enough to make large displays, even though they aren't very thick.

Aluminum is a famously rust-resistant material. It holds up well under the rain and under direct sunlight. The ink we use to print the material is also UV-cured, meaning it has the same fade-resistant properties the aluminum substrate does.

You can use these signs indoors or outdoors. It depends on the purpose the signs will serve. Parking signs are most commonly used outdoors, while branding and informative displays are commonly placed indoors.

What sizes do you offer for the products?

We offer aluminum signage in custom sizes ranging from 4” x 4” to 96” x 48”. The most popular sizes include 12” x 6” for nameplates and office door signs, 18” x 12” for small wayfinding signs, 24” x 24” for informational displays or branding boards. Large aluminum signs are often better if you want to reach viewers at a greater distance.

How much does the aluminum sign material weigh?

Our aluminum signs weigh 0.0475 lbs/sq ft for the 0.04” thickness, 0.075 lbs/sq ft for the 0.06” thickness, and 0.1 lbs/sq ft for the 0.08” thickness.

Can I order aluminum signs in custom shapes?

We offer aluminum signs in custom-cut shapes as well as custom-cut shapes with borders. We also offer them in standard square, rectangular, square and rectangular with rounded corners, circular, and oval shapes.

How many drilled holes should I choose?

It depends on the mounting method you're going to use.

If the sign is going to stand freely, choose no drilled holes.

If it's a light sign you're going to hang on the wall, you can opt for two or four drilled holes, which will be more than enough to support its weight. For heavier aluminum signs, opt for six drilled holes in your preferred configuration to make sure the standoffs can hold it.

How should I install my printed aluminum signs?

You can set up your custom-made aluminum signs in several ways. The most common way to install aluminum signage is to anchor it to a wall using standoffs. French cleats are another way to install your sign. You can hang the base cleat on the wall, then hang the sign on it to create a floating effect.

If you want to avoid drilling holes in the sign and your wall, you can use adhesive command strips.

You can also attach your sign to a post or a fence using zip ties.

If you want to place your sign on a mantel or table, you can use easel backs to allow the sign to stand freely, with the adhesive support attached to the back. Kindly note that easel backs can only support signs up to 20” in height.

Can I print double-sided aluminum signs?

You can print double-sided aluminum signs with the same design applied on both sides or unique designs on each side.

Will my aluminum sign come with a matte or glossy finish?

Our aluminum material has a matte finish, and so does the printing we apply to the material. That being said, you can order your sign with glossy lamination as well, or with an additional coating of matte lamination, or even with anti-graffiti lamination to extend your sign's lifespan and change its finish.

Do you offer lamination for this product?

Yes, we offer glossy, matte, and anti-graffiti lamination for this product. Lamination adds a protective layer to your aluminum sign.

Can I print aluminum signs in different colors?

You can print your aluminum sign in any color you want.
