Yes. Acrylic prints can be used outdoors, just like metal signs. They can withstand temperature fluctuations for a long time. Acrylic prints will stand more than five years in outdoor settings with proper maintenance.

Are acrylic photo prints weatherproof?

Yes, acrylic photo prints are weatherproof. They withstand heavy precipitation, strong winds, and temperature fluctuations. However, beware of exposure to fire and freezing temperatures, as they may deform your acrylic pictures.

How are acrylic photo prints made?

How do you care for plexiglass prints?

Wipe the dust off your acrylic picture prints with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasive sponges on either side of the display. Mild soap water is sufficient for deep cleaning your acrylic pictures.

Do you offer polished edges?

No, we don’t offer polished edges for this product.

How to prepare my file for printing on acrylic?

There are several factors you need to consider while preparing your file for printing. The recommended resolution when printing on acrylic is 300 DPI. It’s around 7200 x 5400 pixels for a sign that measures 18” x 24”. We accept files in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .eps, .tif, .tiff, .ai, .pdf, and .svg formats.

It’s recommended that you submit your design with CMYK-coded colors, rather than RGB. It’s because most industrial printers rely on the CMYK system. Read our article to know how to convert RGB to CMYK for printing.

Ensure you upload a high-resolution image. Otherwise, our system will detect that the image file is low-quality. It’ll recommend you to upscale your image using our built-in AI image enhancer.

Will my custom acrylic printing come in a matte or glossy finish?

Your display will come with a glossy finish. That’s because the graphics are mirror-printed on the backside of the plaque, while facing outward.

What photos look best on acrylic?

Photos with bold colors and contrasting colors look best on acrylic. The glossy finish makes dark colors deep and bright colors glowy.

What is the difference between acrylic, metal, and canvas prints?

Acrylic, metal, and canvas prints are three diverse products. People use them in different areas and for different reasons. Acrylic plaques are good for family portraits, wedding displays, gallery exhibitions, and personalized gifts. They’re suitable for interior and exterior use.

Metal displays are more robust and durable. You can use them as branding, decorative, informative, or traffic displays. Metal displays stand the weather fluctuations perfectly.

Canvas prints are ideal for artwork. They can’t stand outdoor weather like acrylic and metal plaques can. You can use them only indoors.

What sizes do you offer for the product?

We offer several popular sizes for your acrylic photo prints. Choose 12” x 24”, 12” x 12”, 12” x 18”, and other similar sizes for medium and small displays.

For large acrylic wall art, we offer 36” x 36”, 24” x 48”, 48” x 48”, 24” x 72”, and larger sizes.

What hardware do you provide for the product?

We provide standoffs in black, silver, and gold, command strips, an easel back, and a suction cup and hook.

Can I get multi-panel acrylic prints?

Yes, you can order multi-panel displays from our website. However, you should order the plaques separately. You can send your design in separate files, already trimmed for each plaque. Send us the design, and our professionals will trim it if you can’t do it yourself.

How do you ship the product to make sure it will not be damaged?

Our shipping team hand-packs each product that we send out. They also ensure that your items will be handled with care. You can rest assured that should your item be damaged in the shipping process, we will take care of it.

Are acrylic prints durable?

Yes, acrylic glass pictures are durable. They don’t break or crack as glass does. They stand the weather changes and precipitation. However, keep it away from extreme cold and hot environments. They’ll permanently damage the material.

Will my print scratch over time?

Your print will scratch when exposed to abrasive things. Be careful while cleaning your display. Always choose soft microfiber or cotton towels.

Can I place my print in humid environments?

Acrylic photo prints are waterproof. They don’t warp, rust, rot, or bend in humidity as other materials do. Nevertheless, you should watch the temperature. High temperature and humidity can cause the material to expand over time.

Watch for mold buildup and clean it carefully. Keep the air moving if possible to minimize the impact of moisture on the plaque.

How long will it take to get my plexiglass prints?

Standard turnaround time is two days. We also offer fast turnaround, which takes one day.

How should I store my acrylic art prints?

Store your display in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Wrap it in a clean, non-abrasive material, such as glassine paper or bubble wrap. Place it flat on a shelf. Never stack acrylic displays atop each other.
