Reflective Signs Material
We use composite aluminum, also called Dibond, as the core of reflective signs. It consists of two thin aluminum sheets with polyethylene foam sandwiched between. The sheeting we add to the faces is high-quality vinyl. So, how does it work? There are micro glass beads that reflect the light all over the vinyl surface.
Also called retroreflective, the sheet sends the light back in the direction of the source instead of deflecting it in different directions. This feature provides the viewer with a clearer image. - Square / Rectangle: Traditional 90° angled corners offer a classic look. While visually crisp, sharp corners may pose a safety risk. Best suited for elevated or out-of-reach mounting locations.
- Circle / Oval: Choose this option for fully rounded signs. The final shape depends on your selected dimensions. Choose a circle for equal width and height, or an oval when the measurements differ.
- Outline: Your sign is cut to match the exact shape of your custom design. Note: if your artwork includes disconnected elements, they will be joined unless ordered as separate pieces.
- Overline: Adds a white border (¼"–½") around the shape of your design. The border is included in the final dimensions. For a colored or patterned border, include it in your artwork and select the outline cut instead.
