Printing and Materials for Trailer Decals
Our trailer graphics are printed in full color with waterproof UV inks. We use state-of-the-art machines to produce durable, cost-effective prints. You can have your graphic in three base material options: opaque, clear, and perforated. Made of flexible PVC, they come with a strong adhesive that sticks firmly to the surface. A custom-printed trailer decal can also withstand all weather conditions. We also offer three lamination options for further protection. These decals can also be trimmed into custom shapes.
Types of Trailer Decals
We offer three types of trailer decals: clear, opaque, and perforated. If you're looking to feature text-heavy messages like phone numbers or names, we also offer customized vehicle lettering.
Clear
This transparent material is ideal for glass surfaces, but it can be placed anywhere. Choose this option if you want your decal to effortlessly blend in with your trailer.
Opaque
These are solid prints that block out light. Choose this decal if you want a readable yet simple design. Since opaque decals block the view entirely, they're not ideal for windows unless applied as a small sticker along the edge of the glass.
Perforated
This decal option consists of small circles that create one-way visibility. This design allows you to see out while blocking the view in. Choose this trailer signage option if you desire privacy or want to reduce glare from sunlight.

There are five cutting options for trailer vinyl decals: square, rounded, circle, custom cut, and custom cut with border.
- Square / Rectangle: 90-degree angles with straight corners;
- Rounded: Similar to square / rectangle shape, but with rounded corners;
- Circle / Oval Cut: Prints with no corners and ideal for rounded logos;
- Custom Cut: Custom cutting in the exact shape of your design;
- Custom Cut With Border: Cut in the shape of your design with a border around it.
Trailer Decal Signage Sizes
The sizes of our trailer decals range between 6" x 6" and 52" x 1,680". Here are some popular sizes and their uses.
- 12" x 6": You can use this size for logo decals on doors.
- 18" x 24": For displaying company information.
- 24" x 36": For listing full services and logos.
- 48" x 72": These large vinyl decals for trailers are ideal for full coverage, services, and logos.
Lamination Options for Trailer Vinyl Decals
Lamination adds an extra layer of protection. We offer three lamination options: glossy, matte, and anti-graffiti. This is a practical option if your trailer is placed in an area where it's vulnerable. These could be areas with heavy sun exposure, graffiti, or harsh conditions.
Which one should you choose?
- Glossy lamination makes your trailer signage more vibrant from a distance;
- Matte lamination reduces glare and scratches;
- Anti-graffiti specifically repels paint or markers so that it does not permanently damage your trailer decal.

Design Guidelines
When designing your truck decal, please consider a few things. First, make sure key information is away from the outer edges of the decal.
If you're making a design for a clear or opaque decal, add a quarter inch of space on each side. This is called "bleed room," and ensures that your design won't be obscured.
For perforated trailer advertising signs, you will want to account for the window's curvature. It's best to add a quarter to a half inch to your final measurements for a bleed margin for this type of decal.
To ensure that your text is legible, aim for thick fonts that are 2 inches or higher, and include a strong color contrast.
